Internal Reporting Channel Procedure

1. PURPOSE

This Procedure regulates the operation of the Internal Reporting Channel of SERVICIOS Y LOGÍSTICA DE RESCATE, S.L. (hereinafter, “SLRescue”), in accordance with Spanish Law 2/2023 of 20 February. Its purpose is to enable the reporting of potential regulatory breaches, legal infringements or conduct contrary to the internal policies of the Organization, ensuring confidentiality and protection of reporting persons.

2. SCOPE

This Procedure applies to:

  • Employees of SLRescue.
  • Collaborators, suppliers and business partners.
  • Any person who maintains or has maintained a professional relationship with the Organization.

3. SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE PERSON

The Governing Body appoints the Sole Director of SLRescue as the Person Responsible for the Internal Reporting System, who shall act with independence, functional autonomy and direct access to the Governing Body.

4. REPORTING CHANNEL

SLRescue has enabled the following channel for submitting reports:

  • Email: canalinterno@slrescue.com Reports must be submitted in writing and may be made by identifying the reporting person or confidentially.

5. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PROTECTION OF THE REPORTING PERSON

The identity of the reporting person, as well as that of any third party mentioned in the report, shall be treated with strict confidentiality. SLRescue guarantees the absence of retaliation against persons who report facts in good faith, in accordance with Law 2/2023.

6. RECEIPT AND HANDLING OF REPORTS

Upon receipt of a report:

  • An acknowledgement of receipt shall be sent within a maximum period of seven (7) calendar days.
  • The content shall be analysed and, where appropriate, the necessary actions shall be initiated.
  • Feedback or closure of the case shall be provided within a maximum period of three (3) months.

7. RIGHTS OF AFFECTED PERSONS

Persons affected by a report shall be entitled to the presumption of innocence, honour and confidentiality, without prejudice to any actions that may be applicable.

8. RETENTION OF INFORMATION

Reports shall be retained only for the time strictly necessary to decide on the appropriateness of initiating an investigation or to comply with legal obligations.

9. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The processing of personal data derived from this Procedure shall be carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.

10. REVIEW OF THE PROCEDURE

This Procedure shall be periodically reviewed and updated whenever relevant regulatory or organisational changes occur.
