However, regardless of how small this impact may be, our organisation has implemented techniques and methods that contribute to environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, and in a particularly noteworthy manner, our company has been certified in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 since 2018. This standard describes the requirements for an environmentally responsible management system.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the company follows, among others, the following Environmental Best Practices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For the minimisation of waste and emissions:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Inventory control. Preventive maintenance. Waste segregation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For atmospheric emissions:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Carry out preventive maintenance of transport and commercial vehicles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To prevent soil contamination:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Protect warehouses from adverse weather conditions in order to prevent product deterioration. Limit the storage of toxic and hazardous products to a maximum of six months.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To reduce waste generation:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply the code of conduct of the three R\u2019s: reduce, reuse and recycle. Avoid improper use and waste of machinery and equipment. Carry out the transport and management of waste through authorised carriers and waste managers. Reject, as far as possible, the use of polluting materials. Strictly comply with legislation on hazardous waste.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To reduce the use of resources:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Energy: Make maximum use of natural light. Install low-consumption lamps and lighting control systems, such as timers or presence sensors.<\/p>\n<p>Product consumption: Select long-lasting tools and equipment. Comply with the storage requirements of each product or material, observing the manufacturer\u2019s specifications.
